HARRISBURG, Pa. – UPMC today announced the renaming of its women’s health services in central Pa. to UPMC Magee-Womens, forming a closer alignment with the specialists and leadership of Pittsburgh-based UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, reflecting the rapid evolution and advancement of central Pa. region’s busiest obstetric departments and most robust women’s health care offerings.
UPMC Magee is a nationally renowned premier destination for women’s health care and now will have an increased presence in central Pa. The labor and delivery units at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg, UPMC Carlisle, UPMC Hanover, UPMC Lititz, and UPMC Memorial, as well as all 17 ob-gyn and women’s specialty offices in central Pa., will now be UPMC Magee-Womens facilities.

Including labor, delivery and postpartum care, UPMC’s impressive spread of specialty on-site women’s health services in central Pa. include:
- General gynecologic care
- Obstetrics
- Urogynecologic surgery
- Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery
- Gynecologic oncology, in partnership with UPMC Hillman Cancer Center
- Women’s behavioral health
- Maternal fetal medicine
