WHAT: A free healthy living fair sponsored by UPMC is open to the community. Free parking is available. For more information, call 412-641-4361.
Activities:
- Blood pressure screenings
- Education on nutrition, bike safety (bike helmets available until 1 p.m. or until supplies last), and bone & joint health.
- Food, refreshments and giveaways
- Open skate (2 to 4 p.m.)
- Virtual tour
- Walk-in mammograms and lactation consultations
Speak with experts from:
- UPMC Centers for Rehab Services
- UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics
- UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Injury Prevention
- UPMC Magee-Womens Specialty Services
- UPMC Passavant
- UPMC Primary Care
- UPMC Sports Medicine.
WHY: Local residents have access to the specialty services UPMC offers in northern Pittsburgh, and this event provides information on those services along with free health screenings.
The UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex houses various health care services for our communities ranging from primary care, sports medicine, UPMC Children’s Express Care walk-in urgent care, UPMC Magee-Womens Specialty Services—including subspecialized OB-GYN care, early detection of breast cancer with Magee-Womens expertise and full breast surgery care with innovative techniques from UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.
WHO: This event is free and open to the public. No registration required.
