CAMP HILL, Pa. – UPMC is pleased to announce its acquisition of Pennsylvania Gastroenterology (PAGI), a leading provider of gastrointestinal and digestive health services in Central Pennsylvania, effective March 1. This strategic move underscores UPMC’s commitment to expanding access to advanced specialty care and ensuring that patients across the region benefit from a seamless and coordinated health care experience.
Now known as UPMC Gastroenterology Associates of Central Pa. located at 2035 Technology Pkwy., Mechanicsburg and 899 Poplar Church Rd., Camp Hill, this acquisition brings together exceptional clinical teams, ensuring that individuals throughout Central Pa. have timely access to expert diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for a full range of digestive health needs. The endoscopy center at the Camp Hill location is now UPMC Gastroenterology Associates – Digestive Disease Institute. Patients can expect continuity of care with their trusted PAGI physicians, as well as expanded options and streamlined access to UPMC’s extensive regional network. Patients will immediately benefit from enhanced resources and the integration of cutting-edge technologies.

PAGI providers treat digestive diseases such as heartburn and reflux, diverticulitis, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, hemorrhoids, Crohn’s disease, gas and bloating, GERD, bowel incontinence and chronic constipation. Additionally, the team treats liver diseases such as hepatitis and cirrhosis.
