HARRISBURG, Pa. – Mother’s Day is always extra special at the labor and delivery units across UPMC Magee-Womens Hospitals. This year, the babies at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospitals in Central Pa. were dressed in colorful onesies and adorable, hand-crocheted bee hats by nurses and UPMC Pinnacle Foundation volunteers as part of UPMC Magee’s annual Mother’s Day celebration themed, “Sweet as Can Bee”.
“At UPMC Magee-Womens, the arrival of every baby is a celebration,” said Alice Lowe, unit director, labor & delivery unit, UPMC Magee-Womens in Central Pa. “We understand the deep emotions that come with welcoming a new life into the world. It is truly a joy to honor these precious moments and an immense privilege to support our families. We wish all mothers a very Happy Mother’s Day!”
