What is Infertility?

UPMC Content 3

Infertility means that you are unable to conceive, or become pregnant, after having regular unprotected sex.

Surgery can help some causes of infertility, while other causes require medications.

We are happy to see you at the Center for Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery for a surgical consultation.

If we feel that surgery won't help what's causing your infertility, we can refer you for treatment at the Center for Fertility and Reproduction Endocrinology at Magee-Womens Hospital.
