Beth Roman, PhD
Basic Research Director
Dr. Roman has been engaged in HHT-related research since 2002. The goal of Dr. Roman’s research is to understand how the gene mutations in people with HHT affect the way cells process signals that cause blood vessel malformations.
This knowledge may allow us to design therapeutic strategies to correct the cells' mistakes in HHT patient and help ensure development of proper connections between arteries and veins.
