About the Division of Internal Medicine

Our primary care physicians (PCPs) are dedicated to providing high quality, comprehensive, and compassionate routine and preventive medical care to patients. All of our faculty physicians are board-certified in internal medicine and are members of the teaching staff in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. At our offices, we also have residents seeing patients under the close supervision of full-time faculty physicians. Each of our physicians maintains an active clinical practice at UPMC Montefiore. Together, our doctors represent a broad array of backgrounds, experiences, and interests.

Our physicians have the expertise to handle most of your health care needs in the office and to coordinate referrals for specialty care and testing when necessary.

Academic Resources

Our doctors participate in local and national studies to try and find new treatment options for digestive disorders. These studies are called clinical trials. Our clinical trials are constantly changing.

For more information, or to search for a trial or study, please visit the Pitt + Me Registry website.

Additional Resources

The Division works in collaboration with RAND-University of Pittsburgh Health Institute to implement various research endeavors through several institutes, centers, and sections. Learn more about research at the Division of General Internal Medicine.
