The UPMC Multiple Sclerosis Centers in Pittsburgh and in central Pa. offer a full array of treatments and therapies to help improve the health and function of people with multiple sclerosis (MS) and other immunologic conditions, such as neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder, myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody disorder, myelitis, optic neuritis, autoimmune seizure disorders and neurologic disorders associated with Sjogren's syndrome, and sarcoidosis. Our centers have been designated by the National MS Society as a Center for Comprehensive MS Care and provide both state-of-the-art clinical care and clinical trials of novel treatments.
Our comprehensive team includes neurologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses who are all experts in MS care and help meet the needs of people with MS at all levels of disease severity. We also work closely with neuropsychologists and physical therapists to offer patients the full spectrum of care.
Our center offers a variety of proven oral and infusion therapies, as well as multi-center trials of novel oral or infusion therapies for MS.
