Disability Aids Program

About Us

An important element of the Living-At-Home Program is our Grandma’s Attic project — a supply of disability aids that is maintained for eligible program participants in need of extra assistance.

These aids include:

  • Pill boxes.
  • Medication safes.
  • Bathtub benches and grab bars.
  • Raised commodes.
  • “Reachers” — devices to enable elders to safely grasp out-of-reach items from the floor or a high shelf.

Disability aids help seniors navigate their homes more safely and avoid possible injury or permanent impairment as a result of injuries related to falls or medication errors.

Your Support

There is currently no sustained funding source for this project and generous contributions would help to fill this void.
