At UPMC, we are dedicated to helping veterans and military members thrive in their civilian careers. We recognize the unique skills and values that veterans offer and celebrate how they enrich the experience of our organization, our employees, our patients, and our communities. We offer a variety of programs, initiatives, and hiring events to help veterans find rewarding and meaningful civilian careers at UPMC.
In October 2021, the UPMC Pathways for Veterans program was launched with the aim to increase veteran hiring by providing a personalized approach to the UPMC job search and application process. While operated by UPMC Health Plan, the Pathways for Veterans program supports all UPMC-affiliated businesses, business functions, and geographic areas within UPMC.
For many veterans and military members, pursuing a civilian career after service can be a challenging transition. It can also be difficult for your family members to find an employer that stands by them through relocations. At UPMC, we understand the many sacrifices you and your family have made to serve and support our country, and we’re here to help you find the right fit.
Every member of our team has a unique story of how their career journey led them to UPMC. Check out our UPMC Careers blog to be inspired by the stories of other veterans who have found meaningful careers at UPMC.
