For more than 20 years, UPMC’s international division has helped to establish UPMC as a multinational health care system with facilities in Italy, Ireland, and Croatia.

Through in-country facilities, partnerships, and clinical collaborations, UPMC develops health care solutions tailored to the unique needs of the patients and regions we serve.

In 2025, UPMC Hillman Cancer Center opened its newest facility at Zabok General Hospital to bring cutting-edge radiation oncology, medical oncology, and PET-CT services to patients in Croatia and nearby countries. UPMC Hillman cooperates with the Croatia National Health Insurance Fund (HZZO) for select services, including stereotactic radiosurgery and PET-CT services.
