UPMC Scholars Program at UPMC in Central Pa.

UPMC Scholars Programs Can Help You Start Your Career in Health Care.

For selected programs, after you graduate from school and start working at UPMC, you can be reimbursed for the cost of your education!

UPMC is making it easier than ever to pursue a rewarding career in health care!

Through our innovative UPMC Scholars Program, graduates in selected fields who come to work for us are reimbursed for the cost of their education.

Here’s how it works:

To start, you go through the normal payment and financial assistance program to attend school. After you successfully complete the courses and are hired by UPMC, you’ll then receive payments each pay period that – in total – will be equal to the cost of your education.

In return, you agree to a multi-year commitment to work at UPMC – usually two or three years. It’s that simple.

This program covers exciting, high-demand jobs in growing fields, including Surgical Technicians, Medical Assistants, Phlebotomists, Radiology Technicians, and Pharmacy Technicians. In just months, you can start a rewarding career in health care that can take you almost anywhere.

And we partner with schools across the region.

Want to make it even better?

You may have the opportunity to work with UPMC during your education. A variety of full- and part-time positions are available that can accommodate your studies, and even provide hands-on experience in your field of choice.
