UPMC Bariatric Services can help you achieve and maintain your healthiest weight. We offer our patients a spectrum of weight loss options – from non-surgical medical options to endobariatric intermediate procedures and surgical options. 

Our Minimally Invasive Bariatric and General Surgery Program is accredited as a comprehensive center with adolescent qualifications by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program. This accreditation recognizes the program for meeting rigorous standards of quality that evaluate patient outcomes, the volume of surgeries performed each year, and the continued support patients receive after surgery. The program specializes in the treatment of obesity and abdominal problems in men and women.

Behavioral health care services and medical social work services are available at the UPMC Outpatient Center in Hampton with a referral from your primary care physician.

Our MSW can:

• Assess social, emotional, environmental, financial, and support needs.
• Work with you, your PCP, and family to help arrange care among other services.
• Help those who may be living with a chronic degenerative illness, terminal illness, or mental illness.
• Assist with other social, financial, emotional, or housing issues.
• Help patients after discharge from a hospital or with the transition to another level of care.

Our specially trained pediatric providers offer 24/7 access to care including standard well and sick care, after-hours nurse advice line, and in-office specialty services.
