Carin Mincemoyer’s sculptures and public artworks often focus on how humans embrace, struggle to control, and alter the natural environment. She works with diverse materials including metal, wood, discarded packaging, and live plants.
Carin earned her MFA degree from the University of Buffalo and has received awards from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, International Sculpture Center, and Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Her artwork has been exhibited at the Mattress Factory in Pittsburgh, SPACES in Cleveland, and Ground for Sculpture in Hamilton, NY. She lives in Pittsburgh.

- Regarding the Delaware, 2022 permanent commission by the City of Philadelphia for the Lederer Pool at the Francis Lederer Recreation Center, Philadelphia, PA.
- Shy Canopy, 2020, suspended sculpture, Concourse A, Pittsburgh International Airport.
- Dandelions, 2014, temporary sculpture commissioned by NYC Department of Transportation Urban Design & Art Program for a Manhattan streetscape.
