The Andrology and Fertility Preservation Laboratory, part of UPMC Magee Center for Reproduction and Transplantation, offers a full range of special tests and services to diagnose and treat male infertility. We also offer fertility preservation options for people at risk of infertility due to a disease, medical treatment, age, or other circumstances.

What we offer
Our fertility tests and services include:
- Semen analysis.
- Post-vasectomy semen tests.
- Post-ejaculate urine tests for sperm.
- Semen preparation for intrauterine insemination (IUI).
- Hormone analysis.
- Sperm tissue identification.
- Freezing testicular tissue with sperm.
- Freezing immature testicular tissue for individuals who can't produce sperm.
- Freezing ovarian tissue for individuals who can't produce mature eggs.

Through joint agreements, we provide tissue freezing for children and adults at risk of infertility across the country.
