During a routine exam, Marc’s doctor noticed some irregularities with his thyroid.
After he failed a stress test, doctors performed an angioplasty.
Marc’s heart was very strong, but it turned out he needed surgery to repair five blockages.

The surgery was a success.
"After surgery, I went through cardiac rehab," Marc says. “This put me back on a much healthier life — healthy eating, taking my medications."
Most importantly, Marc is back to doing what he loves: playing with his grandchildren.
“My surgery was July 2, 2005, and every year since then I call that my second birthday,” Marc says. “I appreciate having my life back."
