The Human Rights Campaign - Healthcare Equality Index (HEI)

  • UPMC Health Plan and Community Care Behavioral Health Organization (Community Care) have received the top score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 2022 Corporate Equality Index, the nation's foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality.   • One of only 52 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States, an elite group recognized for their demonstrated excellence in cancer research, patient care, education, and community outreach.
  • One of the largest networks in the United States to hold American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) Practice Accreditation, assuring that the center meets vigorous and nationally accepted standards for cancer patient safety and radiation oncology care.
  • Recognized by the Commission on Cancer (CoC) for meeting a national quality standard, establishing a framework for quality, and improving patient care. Multiple UPMC hospitals and associated UPMC Hillman Cancer Center sites throughout the network are CoC accredited with commendation.
