For Dr. Tiffany Deihl, MD, one of the most rewarding parts of medicine is helping families navigate complex pregnancies with confidence and hope.

A maternal-fetal medicine specialist and Medical Director of the Fetal Center at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, Dr. Deihl cares for patients whose pregnancies require specialized expertise and advanced treatment, including those involving maternal health conditions or fetal abnormalities.
“At UPMC Magee, we have all of the resources necessary to care for these complicated patients and their babies,” Dr. Deihl says.
One area where UPMC Magee has emerged as a leader is fetal intervention, a rapidly advancing field that allows physicians to treat certain conditions before a baby is born. Through minimally invasive procedures, specialists can address issues such as twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome and fetal anemia, improving outcomes for both mother and baby.
