All students should review the information below about parking and shuttle services for their respective UPMC in central Pa. location.
Students and instructors must park in the employee parking lot for all shifts. The employee parking lot is on the north side of the building complex (near the Emergency Department entrance and the Bloom Building - i.e. not the Rehab side). Students and faculty must park in the outer lot areas to allow patients and visitors to utilize closer spots. A shuttle service is available.

Students and instructors at the UPMC Harrisburg must park in the 1000 Paxton St. lot for Monday-Friday from 5:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
You may park in any available space except the yellow spaces, which are reserved.
Shuttles run from 0500-0100 and any special requests after wards can be made by calling 717-782-3356.
Shuttle Service will run approximately every 20 minutes, contingent on the weather and other traffic conditions. Those using the shuttle service should wait under the building’s main entrance awning.
Remember to allow extra time when taking the shuttle so that you arrive at your unit at the appointed time.
Weekend and night shift (11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) students may park in the garage which is accessed from Mary Street.
Note: It is strongly suggested that students and instructors carry a second set of keys to allow access to their vehicles in the event that keys are inadvertently locked in the car.
