At St. Margaret School of Nursing, we realize that students have received credit from other schools.
We will accept courses with the equivalent content, and the same number of credits, where the student has earned a grade "C" or better.
We will decide your earned credit after you submit a transcript to the St. Margaret School of Nursing Admissions office.

We accept many forms of financial aid at UPMC St. Margaret School of Nursing.
Upon graduation from St. Margaret School of Nursing, you will earn a diploma in nursing. This means you can take the national licensing exam — the NCLEX-RN — and begin working as an RN.
We also partner with Chatham University to make it simple for you to earn your BSN after you graduate.
We don't offer an LPN program at St. Margaret.
We have an NCLEX review course built into our nursing program at St. Margaret — N360.
We offer this review course the last semester of the program, just before students take the exam.
We use a comprehensive standardized testing package throughout the nursing curriculum to ensure NCLEX success.
