Prostate Cancer Screening
Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, from 8 to 10 a.m.
UPMC Specialty Care Center
875 N. Hermitage Road
Hermitage, PA 16148
Prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in men aside from skin cancer and is the second-leading cause of cancer death in men.
The American Urologic Association (AUA) recommends that men ages 45 to 69 undergo a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test every two years. You may be at risk for developing prostate cancer if:
- You are 45 to 50 years of age or older.
- You are African American (can start screening from 40 to 45 years of age or older).
- You have a first-degree relative who was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Only the PSA blood test will be offered, it will not include a DRE (digital rectal exam). Screenings are offered regardless of insurance status. If you’ve had a PSA test within the past year, you will not be eligible for another at this time.
- Breakfast and light refreshments sponsored by the UPMC Horizon Community Health Foundation.
- Free giveaways.
- Free raffle.
