Service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are welcome in all public areas within UPMC Somerset facilities and in patient rooms.
Animals must be housebroken and under the control of their owner. If the owner is unable to care for the animal during their stay or visit, another person must be designated to do so. UPMC staff are not required to care for service animals.
