Resident council

• All residents are encouraged to attend and share issues or concerns with staff
• Guest speakers attend and discuss topics of interest to residents
• Meetings overseen by resident officers
• Officers nominated and elected by fellow residents
• Meetings held at 2 pm on second Tuesday of each month

Activities

• Activities department supervised by led by a certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA)
• Six hours of organized activities available to residents on a daily basis
• Activities tailored to individual resident ability
• Emphasis on integrating culture, music and exercise into all activities
• Group activities as well as one-on-one activities
• Monthly outings to areas of interest
• Specially trained companion animals visit on a regular basis
