UPMC AnywhereCare is a virtual visit service where you and your family can access high-quality care from your mobile device or computer 24/7 — right from the comfort of your home.

Yes! UPMC AnywhereCare offers 24/7 video visits for non-emergent care for patients of all ages. A parent or legal guardian must be with the child during the virtual visit and have proxy access. For more information, please see the Terms and Conditions (PDF).

The cost of a UPMC AnywhereCare encounter will depend on your insurance coverage. If you would like to inquire with your insurance, the billable CPT codes that are submitted to third-party payors are:

99202–99205 for new patients; 95 modifier (live audio video).
99212–99215 for established patients; 95 modifier (live audio video).

Many UPMC Health Plan members have an incentivized cost share for UPMC AnywhereCare encounters.

Yes! You can have virtual care visits through UPMC AnywhereCare 24/7/365*. Other services are available based on hours of operation and/or provider schedule availability. For more information, please see the Terms and Conditions (PDF).

*Patients ages 0-2 may not be seen through UPMC AnywhereCare during the hours of 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. In the event you need care during this time, please contact your primary care physician or visit an emergency department near you.

For MyUPMC Users

Web: To start a visit from your computer or tablet, log in to MyUPMC.com and navigate to “Other Care Options.” Then, select “Virtual Services.”
Mobile: To start a visit from your mobile device, ensure you have downloaded MyUPMC from the app store. From there, log in and select “Other Care Options.” Then, select “Virtual Services.”

For UPMC Patient Portal Users

Web: To start a visit from your computer or tablet, simply log in to portal.upmc.com.
Mobile: To start a visit from your mobile device, download the MyChart app from your mobile device and search “UPMC Patient Portal.”
