Dr. James E. Taylor— UPMC, Chief Culture, Community, and Talent Management Officer — leads all workplace culture and community engagements efforts for UPMC. Dr. Taylor conducts cutting-edge and next-gen strategies to advance our national presence as an integrated health care delivery and finance system.

Workplace Culture and Community Engagement Infrastructure

Along with Center for Workplace Culture and Community Engagement staff, the core team that supports the execution of our strategies includes:

  • Workplace Culture and Community Engagement Directors, Managers, and Consultants.
  • Employee Resource Groups.
  • UPMC Board of Directors Workplace Culture and Community Engagement committee.
  • Employee Experience Councils at the Business Unit Level.

We've helped design and deploy dozens of culture and inclusion initiatives across UPMC.
