At UPMC, medicine is more than a career, it is your passion and our promise to grow our physicians, constantly honing and expanding our methods and elevating patient care. You'll be involved in decision making for your service line and have input through regular meetings with the service line medical director, health system president and CMO.

Opportunities for growth and change abound as you receive training for new technology and care delivery models like the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH), teach students from the Williamsport Family Medicine Residency and present your ideas for improving care and service.

As a part of UPMC, our physicians have access to leading research including a medical school ranked fifth in NIH research funding and the third-largest residency and fellowship program in the county.
