UPMC in central Pa is a Baby Friendly USA designation. We have set aside certain areas on our campuses to accommodate nursing mothers (employees, patients and visitors) who need privacy to pump breast milk.
We have designated a basement room that has space for two mothers at a time. Privacy is provided by a screen. Security has the key and offers a sign in and out sheet for tracking use.
