Gina Perez, MD, is the Associate Chief of the UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital Behavioral Network, which includes telepsychiatry for both UPMC sites and other mental and behavioral health centers throughout 16 locations and 11 counties in Western Pennsylvania. This podcast focuses upon this rapidly growing treatment modality for not only individual treatment and evaluation but also for psychiatric inpatient units and, over time, in emergency rooms. Care standards will be delineated.
