After Hours and Emergency Voice Care
Singers and other performers often develop vocal problems after hours or at other inconvenient, but critical times. Voice Center staff can provide immediate evaluation and treatment for most voice problems at your performance or rehearsal location.

Our Tele-Therapy Locations
Tele-Voice Therapy
The University of Pittsburgh Voice Center is collaborating with the UPMC Telemedicine group to now deliver high-quality, laryngology-specific, voice therapy via a tele-medicine platform. This significantly enhances our ability to deliver specialized therapy (voice, cough, breathing) to patients who live far away from Pittsburgh.
All patients who are candidates for therapy by a voice-specialized speech-language pathologist will be required to have one visit in person. Following that, they could be eligible to receive their therapy via a tele-medicine platform that can be delivered to:
- Their home via a smartphone or tablet or
- One of the pre-existing UPMC Telemedicine Centers below:
