Services at the UPMC Voice Center

Do you need help with:

  • Your voice's pitch, loudness, or quality?
  • Breathing?
  • Coughing?
  • Swallowing?

At the UPMC Voice Center, we take a multidisciplinary approach in the evaluation and treatment of people with all types of voice and throat problems.

Complete and Total Voice Care

To ensure convenient and complete care, you will see both a laryngologist (an ear, nose, and throat surgeon who specializes in voice disorders) and a speech language pathologist.

Our Voice Center experts will work with you to create a custom treatment plan for your specific voice problem.

These services and treatments may include:

We also provide emergency care, including on-site consults, to vocal performers. This allows our Voice Center staff to treat vocal problems right away, often at your performance or rehearsal location.

For emergency care, contact the UPMC Voice Center at 412-232-SING (7464).
