This is a three-year combined hematology and oncology fellowship training program.
Our aim is to provide outstanding clinicians in the ever growing field of hematology and oncology. We provide a wide breadth and diversity of patient diagnosis and allow the trainee to become facile and management of the full spectrum of benign and malignant hematology as well as medical oncology.
Due to being recently ACG ME accredited, for the 2025 entering fellowship class we will be interviewing and recruiting candidates outside of the match. For the class of 2026 and beyond we will be participating in ERAS and the NRMP.

Fellows will have dedicated educational time from 8:00 a.m. till noon on Fridays.
These sessions will include lectures on the general management and diagnosis of hematologic and oncologic disease. During the educational time one article for journal club will also be discussed weekly. In addition we have a novel self-directed learning approach whereby fellows are assigned weekly brief topics to write a board question for their peers on with relevant references and answers. The program director and fellows review each other's questions and provide peer support learning Friday mornings also include a case based discussion from the clinics that the fellows have seen recently.
In addition tumor boards are offered weekly for multiple tumor types and fellows are required to participate in tumor boards.
