UPMC in Central Pa. offers a 3 year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with added credential in Reconstructive and Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery (PMSR/RRA) that will prepare you to become a board-certified podiatric specialist.
Our Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program at UPMC Harrisburg, rotates through all aspects of medicine, and gives you access to the expertise of more than 20 qualified, board-certified department members with a broad range of expertise with the goal of producing a well-rounded physician and surgeon.

As part of the Graduate Medical Education program at UPMC, residents and fellows receive stipends and a comprehensive benefits package.
The clerkship program through UPMC Harrisburg’s Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Program is open to applicants from our current affiliated Podiatric Medical Schools. The month long rotation strives to present a comprehensive picture of our three-year residency program for pre-doctoral podiatric extern students. It also acts to enhance the clinical educational exposure that is already in place. Interested students must submit the American Association of Colleges of Podiatric Medicine (AACPT) Uniform Podiatric Clerkship Application. More information can be found on the AACPM Website.
