UPMC in Central Pa. offers a 3 year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with added credential in Reconstructive and Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery (PMSR/RRA) that will prepare you to become a board-certified podiatric specialist.
Our Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program will give you access to the expertise of 20 qualified, board-certified department members with a broad range of expertise. Our curriculum includes a range of didactic, research and surgical opportunities to prepare you to be a qualified practitioner of podiatric medicine and surgery.

Because UPMC in Central Pa. is a multifacility health system, our residents will have the opportunity to treat a large volume of inpatient cases for conditions including diabetic infections and reconstructive foot surgery.
Applications are accepted through CASPR only. in central Pa. participates in the centralized CRIP interview annually in Texas.
