St. Margaret's 16-month nursing course will put your nursing career on the fast track.
Our diverse clinical experiences will provide you the hands-on learning that you will need to care for patients with confidence. And, they will expose you to a wide variety of hospital and patient care environments.
We are currently conducting in-person learning for all nursing courses. Non nursing courses are instructed both in-person and virtually, and subject to change.

In earning your Professional RN Diploma from one of our UPMC Schools of Nursing, you will have met all the necessary requirements to sit for the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX – RN) and move forward with Nursing Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
Other states that our UPMC Schools of Nursing graduates have sat for the NCLEX – RN include: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia.
