Conveniently connected to UPMC Outpatient Emergency Department, Haven Place, part of UPMC Senior Communities, provides professional, compassionate care to residents and their families. This home-like setting supports the management of daily living, with easy access to hospital services such as emergency care, lab services, and radiology if needed.
Haven Place staff provides a variety of programs that meet the needs of residents who no longer require hospital care, but need 24-hour assistance. A team of UPMC professionals works to enhance quality of life and return residents to their highest level of independent functioning. Caring, dedicated staff provide comprehensive services that address the physical, psychological, and social needs of each resident.
The rehabilitation gym provides the latest equipment to help boost strength and coordination. The rehabilitation team includes exceptional physical, occupational, and speech therapists. All care is overseen by a board-certified medical director who works in partnership with the resident’s physicians.
Additionally, expert memory care is available at Haven Place and Nursing Graham Meadows Unit, for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
