Opened August 2015, the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is not only a comprehensive outpatient facility for UPMC Sports Medicine, but is also the primary training home for the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins®.
This first-of-its-kind facility features UPMC Sports Medicine’s orthopaedic, primary care, physical therapy, concussion, imaging, and sports performance services. It also features clinic space for UPMC Children's Express Care, UPMC Magee-Womens Specialty Services, and the UPMC Program for Spine Health

Conveniently open on evenings and weekends, UPMC Children’s Express Care provides specialized pediatric care for your child or teen. From earaches to animal bites, fever to sprains, we treat minor injuries and illnesses when your regular pediatrician’s office is closed. Learn more about the symptoms we treat. Named after Pittsburgh Penguins owner and legend Mario Lemieux, the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is the team's practice and training home. It features two full-size ice rinks, training and locker rooms, a video viewing area, executive offices, and much more.
In addition, a common area is available to the public and includes a 1,500 square-foot hockey skills training area, open skating availability, eight community locker rooms, two private event spaces, an on-site cafè, retail shops, and much more.
