UPMC Perinatal TiPS gives providers direct access to mental health and substance use experts who support them in caring for pregnant and postpartum patients. TiPS providers help guide medication prescribers during the perinatal period. TiPS providers do not provide prescriptions directly to patients. A Perinatal TiPS team serves every county in Pennsylvania. Our UPMC team serves western Pennsylvania. Perinatal TiPS is a partnership among UPMC Western Behavioral Health, UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, and UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
*TiPS is not a crisis service.
