You’ll have your own primary care provider (PCP) but can be seen via telehealth for almost all your health care needs.
If you need to be seen in person you will be referred to one of the satellite locations of the practice. We have locations in Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Lancaster, York, and surrounding areas. Once there, you will be seen by one of the providers from Virtual Primary Care–UPMC for your in-person health care needs.

When your PCP is unavailable, one of the other providers in the virtual practice will be available for questions or appointments during business hours.
The nurse advice call line is available 24/7, and the provider on-call services are available evenings, overnight, and weekends.
We also offer on-demand video visits for after hours and weekends. No appointment is needed. A UPMC provider can see you for flu, COVID-19 symptoms, and many other non-urgent symptoms. On-demand video visits are available Monday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
If you need to be seen in person, we offer walk-in care at our Express Care locations and UPMC urgent care. To find a walk-in location near you, visit Central Pa Right Care.

This practice will be especially appealing to people who are very busy and have trouble finding time to go to a traditional primary care visit, those with transportation challenges, those who travel often, or college students away from home.

There are very few things that can’t be well managed via telehealth. If your medical conditions make travel difficult this may be a particularly good care option for you.
