PGY-2

  • 19 weeks at UPMC Harrisburg Adult Recon, Sports Medicine, Spine, Hand
  • 6-7 weeks Night Float
  • 6-7 weeks UPMC West Shore Adult Recon, Sports Medicine, Spine, Hand
  • 6-7 weeks  UPMC Community General Adult Recon, Sports Medicine, Spine, Hand
  • 13 weeks Pediatric Orthopaedics at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh PA
  • AO Basic Fracture Course
  • Dedicated Research Days

PGY-3

  • ATLS certification
  • 2 weeks Night Float
  • 6 weeks at UPMC Harrisburg Adult Recon, Sports Medicine, Spine, Hand
  • 6 weeks West Shore Hospital - Adult Recon, Sports Medicine, Spine, Hand, and Foot & Ankle
  • 4 weeks UPMC Carlisle Hospital – Adult Recon, Sports Medicine, Spine, Hand, Foot & Ankle
  • 8 weeks Adult Reconstruction
  • 8 weeks Hand/UE Surgery
  • 6 weeks UPMC Lititz - Orthopaedic Oncology
  • 6 weeks Spine
  • Dedicated Research Days

PGY-4

  • 6 weeks Pediatric Orthopaedics at Atlanta Scottish Rite, Atlanta GA
  • General Orthopaedics with fellowship trained specialists in Sports Medicine, Spine, Adult recon, Hand and Upper Extremity
  • 6 weeks Orthopaedic Trauma at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, PA
  • 12 weeks at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital  - Adult Recon, Sports Medicine, Spine, Hand and Upper Extremity
  • 12 weeks at UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital – Adult Recon, Sports Medicine, Spine, Hand and Upper Extremity
  • 6 weeks Orthopaedic Trauma at UPMC West Shore
  • Dedicated Research Days

PGY-5 (Chief)

  • 5 months General Orthopaedics with fellowship trained specialists in Sports Medicine, Spine, Adult Recon, Hand & Upper Extremity, Foot & Ankle, and Orthopaedic Oncology
  • 2 months Adult Reconstruction
  • 10 weeks Senior Service
  • 10 weeks Adult Reconstruction and Oncology
  • Dedicated Research Days

  • Cadaver Dissection, Anatomy, Approaches
  • Cadaver Lab
  • Orthopaedic Skills lab

  • Daily Morning Education
  • Weekly Preoperative Conference
