IBD U.N.I.T.E.

IBD U.N.I.T.E. (Unify, Network, Inspire, Treat, and Educate) is an annual UPMC education program for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients, their families, and loved ones. This program is also accredited for nurses.

Free. IBD UNITE registration will open in Nov. 2019. 

Attendees:
Open to all Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis (collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease, or IBD) patients, family members, and loved ones.
This program is designed to address the needs of the adult IBD patient. Teen patients are welcome to attend with adult accompaniment.
Important IBD U.N.I.T.E. topics include:

  • IBD medical treatment and surgical advancements.
  • Microbiome updates and related dietary advice.
  • Why behavioral health interventions work.
  • Physician, medical team, and patient panels to address your questions.
