IBD U.N.I.T.E.

IBD U.N.I.T.E. (Unify, Network, Inspire, Treat, and Educate) is an annual UPMC education program for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) patients, their families, and loved ones. This program is also accredited for nurses.

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Cost:
Free. IBD UNITE registration is now closed. If you would like to register on site, you are welcome to do so. However, we cannot guarantee seating availability for all parts of the program. If you plan to register on Saturday, March 30, please plan to arrive by 9:00 am.

Attendees:
Open to all Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis (collectively known as Inflammatory Bowel Disease, or IBD) patients, family members, and loved ones.

This program is designed to address the needs of the adult IBD patient. Teen patients are welcome to attend with adult accompaniment.

Transportation:
Free, round-trip, chartered bus transportation will be available from the Oakland section of Pittsburgh. All buses will have restrooms. The pick-up and drop-off location will be on Bigelow Blvd., between the University of Pittsburgh’s William Pitt Student Union and the Cathedral of Learning. No bus reservation is required.

  • The bus will leave Oakland at 8:30 a.m. and will arrive at the DoubleTree Monroeville at 9:00 a.m.
  • The bus will leave the DoubleTree Monroeville at 3:15 p.m. and will arrive in Oakland at 3:45 p.m.
