After earning a Ph.D from the University of Edinburgh (Scotland) in Molecular Biology and working for many years as a research scientist in vector biology, Dr. Delroux earned her DO from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2020. A practitioner of Family Medicine, her passion is mental health, particularly among children and adolescents. Women’s and LGBTQ health are also core areas of interest. “When I’m not wielding the stethoscope, I prefer to cut loose in the kitchen, spend time with my husband and daughters, and read.”

Though originally from India, Dr. Gill completed undergrad at Pitt-Johnstown, PA and later medical school at KYCOM in Pikeville, KY. “I was attracted to the FM program at Lititz because of its small size. It’s very personable and resident driven. Plus it’s close to home! My interests in Family Medicine lie within ambulatory primary care and urgent care, with a dream of incorporating global medicine. During my free time I'm chasing waterfalls & traveling the world with my drone!"

Dorine Lantimo-Vetter, DO

Dr. Lantimo-Vetter came to this country 20 years ago from Haiti with one goal in mind: becoming a physician and give back to her community. In the journey toward her goal, she learned English, attended college, and graduated medical school from Nova Southeastern University. Today she is living her dream as a UPMC-Lititz Family Medicine resident. “I enjoy this program because I am getting a great education while also being able to have a work life balance. I spend time cooking Haitian food with my mother and playing with my three-year-old mischievous son. In the future, I plan to practice in a diverse community and inspire a new generation of African American physicians.”

Peter Rippberger, DO

Dr. Rippberger attended Franklin & Marshall College here in Lancaster. Following undergrad, he attended a post-bacc program at the University of Vermont before starting medical school at the University of New England. He is thrilled to be back in central Pennsylvania to complete his residency in Family Medicine. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outside with his wife and his overly friendly 10 lb “rat” dog.

Dr. Zimmerman is actually a local! He grew up here in Lititz and remembers when this hospital was first being built. Shadowing at this hospital is when his passion for medicine began! Nate went to Juniata College as an undergrad for biopsychology and went to medical school at LECOM in Erie, PA. “I’m one of the new family medicine residents and am looking to incorporate my interests of psychology and sports medicine into my practice down the road. I’m also a big soccer fan and love a good day of fishing. I chose to go to UPMC Lititz for a few reasons, but the biggest is the ability to incorporate areas of interest into your actual residency curriculum.”

Dr. Felice is from State College, PA. He went to the Pennsylvania State University for undergrad and completed medical school at NYITCOM in Long Island. He has an interest in mental health and preventative medicine. "I chose UPMC Lititz because I wanted a smaller program where I would have the opportunity to get to know the residents and attendings really well. The program is also located in a great area with lots of nature and outdoor activities. In my free time I enjoy soccer, distance running, games, and gardening."

Dr. Ghafoor is from Miami, FL. She was enrolled in the bridge program at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, earning a BS in Biology and her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. The program provided a wide range of clinical pathology and sparked her interest in Family Medicine. “I chose UPMC Lititz because of the small program size, providing an individualized and in depth learning opportunity. The program is versatile and the area provides the best of city and small town living.” During her spare time, she likes to explore the shops in Downtown Lititz, host friends for potlucks, and take walks in the Lititz Springs Park.

Gihan Jayasuriya, DO

Dr. Jayasuriya is from Princeton Junction, NJ and grew up in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. He attended Lehigh University, earning a BA in Behavioral Neuroscience and then attended the Penn State College of Medicine in nearby Hershey, earning a MS in Cell and Molecular Biology. He then went on to earn a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Touro COM NY in Middletown, New York. “I chose UPMC Lititz because of the small class size, the great variety in the curriculum, and my visits to Lancaster.”

He earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine. “I was impressed by the robust rotations, friendliness, and great reputation that UPMC Lititz offers.” During his spare time, Dr. Papathanasiou loves traveling to national parks and abroad.

Dr. Chan was a first-generation immigrant from Hong Kong who spent his teenage years growing up in Southern California and earned B.S. in Biochemistry from University of California Los Angeles. He completed his medical training from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and is also a licensed generalist physician in Hong Kong. “I have lived in many different cities, but the small-town lifestyle here in Lititz and Lancaster truly captured my heart. I chose UPMC Lititz because it is a small community program where everyone is friendly, and we all work very closely together to serve this community. In my free time, I love to brew expresso drinks at home with my home-modded espresso machine, and I am always looking for new guests to serve!”

Tochukwu Nwosu, MD

Dr. Nwosu was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, and is the eldest in his family. From an early age his parents instilled in him and his siblings the importance of family, resilience, and community. Dr. Nwosu received his medical degree from the University of Benin in Nigeria and has trained, practiced, and taught throughout Africa and the Caribbean, most notably at St. George’s University in Grenada. “I chose UPMC Lititz Family Medicine because it offers a comprehensive training in a culture that highly values education, a team-based approach, personal well-being, and patient-centered care. I love being a father to phenomenal twin girls and traveling the world with my wife. When not practicing medicine, you can find me on the soccer field or enjoying a good movie. I am excited to do what I was created to do, demonstrate humanity through healing and personal connection in communities with the greatest need."

Dr. Soliman has lived in the Lancaster and Harrisburg Central PA regions for the last 20 years. He completed his undergraduate education in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, at Pennsylvania State University, where he also obtained his MBA. Dr. Soliman completed his medical school education at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine. “One of my favorite aspects about the Family Medicine Program at UPMC Lititz is its smaller-sized program as it allows you to work more closely with your fellow residents and attendings!” Dr. Soliman has a wide range of interests ranging from primary care and preventative medicine to sports medicine and urgent care. In his down time, Dr. Soliman enjoys playing soccer, cooking, and gardening.

Dr. Spinuzzi Sloat is originally from Colorado where she completed her Bachelor of Science and post graduate public health master's education. She obtained her medical degree from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Cruces, NM. She chose the family medicine program at UPMC Lititz because of their commitment to training outstanding physicians in a supportive, family friendly environment. Her current interests in medicine include traditional outpatient family practice, women's health, and geriatrics. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 18-month-old daughter and participating in an array of outdoor activities including hiking, camping, running, and swimming.
