Externship and job shadowing opportunities are available at UPMC Passavant's hospital campuses in McCandless and Cranberry Township for students seeking a career in the health care industry. Learn more about our program requirements below.

The Education Department staff will consult the appropriate department manager prior to the start of the externship.
After approval, the student is supervised by the department manager or a health care professional, dependent upon the type and nature of the experience.
