Post-graduate students seeking a residency training program can find a wealth of opportunities at UPMC.
Our pharmacy residency program dates back to 1962. Over the last six-plus decades, we have trained more than 1,000 pharmacy residents.
We currently offer PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency programs at nine different hospitals. These programs allow pharmacy residents to train in different clinical and community settings. We train residents in many specialty areas, such as critical care, emergency medicine, oncology, and transplant.
At UPMC, we believe in the values of mentorship and teamwork. We strive to create a welcoming atmosphere that helps our residents meet their ultimate goals.
